I’ve seen ‘em all come and go. The dinosaurs, the mammoths, the hair-metal bands. They thought they were pretty hot stuff, strutting around like the Earth would be their personal property forever. You know what else they had in common? They all hated me. Despised me. Totally. They’d kill me as soon as they saw me. Why? Well, they’d say it’s because I’m disgusting and I carry disease. Which is true. But I think the real reason they hate me is that they know I’ll outlive them. I remind them they won’t live forever.
